Wanderlust

The most adventurous thing to do in the south of France is most definitely the canyoning in the Gorges du Verdon. When you go canyoning, it means that you will float around and jump off rocks in the Verdon. The good thing about canyoning is that none of the jumps are mandatory. If you are to scared to jump, you just don't do it. It is an amazing experience and definitely worth a shot! We did this activity on holiday because of my assignment for school. I wanted to work on my international skills and competences and this was perfect. It is something I wouldn't normally do so I stepped out of my comfort zone. There is always someone guiding you but they only speak French. They explain the way of canyoning as well as the flora and fauna that can be found in the Verdon. If I didn't understand something, they took the effort to explain it in English  which can be linked to the stereotypes in the TED talk. I took this opportunity to learn new things in French and learned a lot. Right below, I inserted a few videos of me doing the canyoning so you can paint a picture for yourself. Enjoy!
